Professional First Aid Training

Lakes First Aid provides high quality first aid training for the public & private sectors, individuals and groups. At Lakes First Aid we pride ourselves in delivering professional first aid courses with real, practical skills that will leave you feeling confident in providing a safer environment for your colleagues, family and friends.

Who we are

Lakes First Aid is owned and managed by Ross & Sue Wallace. Ross has over 20 years in the field of outdoor adventure activities & casualty care. He is a trained Surf Lifeguard, Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and has been an active member of Mountain Rescue.

In conjunction with providing first aid training Ross & Sue also owns and runs our sister company Reach Beyond Adventure. As a qualified outdoor pursuits instructor in sailing, canoeing, kayaking, climbing & mountaineering (and father of two young children!) Ross has had first hand experience of first aid and casualty care.

Ross’s comprehensive background as a trainer spans across corporate development, teambuilding & staff training. In recent years he held the post of National Training Manager for Outward Bound (UK), NVQ assessor and currently assesses for the Accredited Practitioner scheme of the Institute for Outdoor Learning.

Our trainers

All our trainers hold a wealth of knowledge and skills from their varied and diverse backgrounds in Training, Paramedic, Health or Mountain Rescue settings. You can expect our trainers to be prompt, have excellent communication skills and deliver high quality practical courses.

Memberships & Accreditation’s

Lakes First Aid is a member of the Chambers of Commerce and Institute for Outdoor Learning and Ross is an Accredited Practitioner of the Institute for Outdoor Learning.
