First Aid for Forestry & Outdoor Environments

Practical & hands on first aid training suitable for anyone working in outdoor & forestry environments including forestry workers, arborists, vegetation clearance, tree planting & Forestry Commission work.

This course is the national standard in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW+f) and meets the requirements of staff or contractors working for the Forestry Commission

Course content:

Core first aid training covers the essential skills required to assess & treat a casualty who is bleeding, unconscious or stopped breathing. This includes the basic skills needed in the outdoor environment to ‘hold the fort’ until further help arrives.

Syllabus:

All courses are certificated and valid for 3 years


PLEASE NOTE: Those requiring more comprehensive training including stabilising breaks, trauma, working at height, head injuries & other illnesses we strongly recommend the First Aid at Work or Outdoor First Aid. courses.
